a few words

We have a wall, we also have some paintings. How to systematize them? Below are some ground rules and placement patterns. All in a row. If you want to place many paintings of the same size one after the other, they should be placed in a row, taking the lower side of the frame as a reference point. Clutter, but not too much. Paintings of different sizes cannot be "planted" as happens on a blank wall. The easiest way to set some order is to enclose them all inside some kind of imaginary geometric figure, usually a rectangle or a square. Exhibition effect. Only, without anything that "steals the show", it occupies the entire wall. Of course, the chosen image should have a "powerful" impact and around it there should be a part of the wall that frames it giving the right perspective. It is the ideal choice if the environment is spacious and you want to create a scenographic effect. Portraits. If paintings or photos portray people, their faces should face each other, creating a harmonious effect. Modern gallery. Arranged in sequence, and all of the same size, the paintings thus emphasize the sense of depth of the environment and at the same time reduce the height of the ceiling. Very effective for corridors.
