A white floor can be done very well with bleached or even lacquered wood, porcelain tiles, marble, or resin. The cleanliness aspect is always taken into consideration. All these materials give the opportunity to intervene in the shade and change the final effect. On the other hand, a "dull" and non-homogeneous surface, such as wood, hides dirt and imperfections more easily, while a smooth and shiny surface, such as marble, highlights them a lot.
